Anurag Bhargava - Chairman
Mr. Bhargava was previously Head of Private Equity for MSD Capital, the private investment firm for Michael Dell, where he managed a successful portfolio of private equity investments. Mr. Bhargava is a co-founder of India Equity Partners and El Dorado Holdings, and also serves on the board of the State Bank of Mauritius.

Lalit Goyal - Vice Chairman & Managing Director
Mr. Lalit Goyal is a successful business entrepreneur with a foresight that enables him to identify intrinsic potential in business opportunities and allows him to transform them into commercial success. His business acumen and insight of the Indian economy has helped him transform various ventures in the last two decades.

Steven Wisch - Founding Partner
Steven Wisch, 48, is a founder and Managing Partner of India Equity Partners (IEP), a long-term, growth-oriented Indian private equity fund.  He is also a founder and Managing Director of IREO, the first organized foreign fund involved in Indian real estate development focused on constructing a world-class portfolio of residential, commercial, retail and hospitality properties. These businesses manage over $2 billion dedicated entirely to India with eight offices and over 300 employees.  Mr. Wisch was a Partner and Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he worked for a total of 17 years in various areas, including corporate finance, mergers and acquistions, executive administration, equity capital markets (including five years running Asian Equity Capital Markets in Hong Kong.

Madhukar Tulsi - President
Mr. Tulsi has more than 35 years of experience in real estate investment, development and construction at leading firms including ITC Limited, DLF Universal Group and Lalbhai Realty.
He has led the development of several landmark projects like Capital Court Delhi, The Laburnum, a luxury condominium complex in Gurgaon, and Classic Golf Resort (CGR), South Asia’s first signature golf course designed by the internationally famous golfer, Jack Nicklaus.

Louis Klein - Founding Partner
Prior to IREO, Mr. Klein was with Colony Capital, where his focus included investments in residential and commercial real estate projects, as well as gaming, agriculture and hospitality properties. Colony Capital has been among the largest acquirers and financiers of real estate and related assets globally since its inception in 1991. Prior to Colony Capital, Mr. Klein was with Secured Capital, a merchant banking and advisory firm focused on the real estate industry, where he was involved in whole mortgage loan portfolio trades, debt and equity placements, and principal investments in non-performing loan portfolios internationally. Mr. Klein is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Ramesh Avadhani - Director
Mr. Avadhani has around 21 years of experience in a wide spectrum of industries, of which, 14 years of experience in the real estate industry alone. As Head of Chennai office at Ascendas India (a Singapore based provider of business space solutions across Asia) he played an important role in developing the ITPL in Bangalore, acquiring the Vanenburg IT Park in Hyderabad and setting up the Ascendas IT Park Fund for India. Besides this, he was also associated with various group companies of TATAs for over a period of 7 years.

Anil Aggarwal - Director and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Aggarwal has over 26 years of experience in financial management, including structured finance, merger/ acquisitions and capital markets. He has worked with several large corporations viz., Indian Oil Corporation, Unit Trust (Mutual Fund), Reliance Capital, RPG group, Punj Lloyd and at two large US multinational corporations, Cargill and Bunge. Anil is a Chartered Accountant, MBA (Delhi) and CFA.

Reshan Rambocus - Head Mauritius Operations

Reshan Rambocus was formerly a partner with Ernst & Young Mauritius where he led the client advisory team for IREO since its conception in 2004. Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer for HSBC Mauritius. He returned to Mauritius in 1996 after spending a number of years with KPMG Tax Advisers in London. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

He is responsible for the operations and supported by a team of 15 professionals, manages key aspects of structuring, treasury and reporting for Ireo.

Varun Khanna - Director
Mr. Khanna has more than two decades of experience in the services sector in India and overseas. He has set up business operations in more than 30 countries. As the CEO of DS Construction’s overseas operations in Dubai, he was directly responsible for concluding mega-sized deals in Infrastructure Development in India and large scale construction projects in the Middle East.
